The hotel is fantastic value for money, offering modern and spacious rooms at a very affordable price. The attention to detail is evident, with well-furnished rooms and plenty of space for luggage and work. The hotel's location near two large supermarkets is a convenient bonus, and the serene garden view from the balconies adds to the overall charm. The staff speak English fluently and are friendly, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.
The restaurant's food could use some improvement.

The restaurant at Kong Garden View Resort is really excellent. The food was better that at any other restaurant we tried in Chiang Rai area. The hotel has inexpensive laundry service and functioning free wifi. The room price was ok too. The front desk staff was nice. The hotel has quite a nice garden with a pond.
The sound insulation at the hotel is poor. You could too easily here the staff talking (loud) and watching tv (loud) in the corridor. Especially some of the cleaning ladies were unprofessionally loud speaking and unfriendly. One morning just past 5 am the hotel was overwhelmed by some kind of ceremony (sounded like muslim prayer). This procedure was repeated a bit later again. The location was a bit of a disappointment. As I was expecting a lush forest, the surrounding was quite suburban instead. The hotel can still serve as a good base for traveling to areas around Chiang Rai.

This is a resort hotel you would like to expect—beautiful setting with a lake (and geese as well), a quiet restaurant overlooking the lake, spacious and spotless rooms with a balcony—all these made me chilled-out during the stay, especially the last day when I was sitting in the lakeside restaurant to do research and plan my trip to Laos next day until the battery of my iPad was running out. Though there was another block of resort accommodations under construction, I couldn't hear any noise at all either from my room or the restaurant.
The hotel is situated at a 15-minute walking distance from the town center (and that might be what you would expect from a resort hotel) and you need to cross the main highway to get to the town. If you return to the hotel at night from the town, you'd better take a tuk-tuk which costs you around 50 to 80 bahts, depending on your negotiating power.

good value for the money
1. what they call THE LAKE is just a pool where mosquitos reproduce themselves at will 2. quite poor breakfast, with little choice and ants in the sugar pot

Lovely setting by a lake with a beautifully designed restaurant.
Breakfast was terrible! and being so far away from any other restaurants there were no other options. It is well out of the main part of the city and many taxi and tuck tuck drivers didn't know how to find it.

Great location close to the city center and two supermarkets. the hotel is situated down a quiet off-street, making for a peaceful stay. Rooms are large, clean, and well-appointed with comfortable beds and powerful showers. the lakeside restaurant offers excellent food at reasonable prices, and the free shuttle to town is a nice touch. Ducks and rabbits are frequent visitors to the hotel's gardens.
The included breakfast could use some improvement for foreigners.

Very Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff.Car needed to get to town.was drawback.
1 Too far from town if no car 2 No English channels on tv 3 Almost all guests were asian as was the food. 4 No hairdryer in room 5 tea and coffee facilities were in foyer not in room 6 everytime you went to town cost was 100 baht each way. 7 Brochure said 5 minutes from town - car travel to town was 15 minutes.

I couldn't believe the price of this hotel! It was an amazing deal for such a beautiful place. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and had all the amenities I needed. The balcony was a lovely touch, perfect for enjoying the complimentary coffee from the lobby. The hotel's location at the pond offered a nice view and added to the overall charm. The breakfast buffet was out of this world delicious, with a wide variety of Asian and western options.
No major issues, everything was great!

Great hotel and services.
Construction crew and noise throughout the day. Perhaps temporary. Back door to patio on the ground floor didn't lock properly.

Lovely location even if a little far away from the city centre. The staff is very attentive. The nearby restaurant is good. They only accept Thai visa card.

The hotel provided a great value for the price, as the room was clean and comfortable with a powerful shower and free WiFi. the hotel offered free transportation into town which was useful and convenient. the hotel provided a lakeside restaurant with nice views and good food.
The location of the hotel is a bit far from the tourist areas and attractions, which may not be suitable for travelers without transportation. the breakfast offered was basic and repetitive, could have been better with more variety.

extremely clean, new and big room with view on gardens, quiet surroundings, friendly staff, possibility to rent scooter at hotel, 5min ride from central plaza mall or city, free shuttle to bus station and night bazar 3times a day, strong wifi, good value for money.
breakfast (horrible instant coffee and powder creamer, only western items are cold fried eggs, toast and butter/jam and cookies); location requires you to rent a scooter which might not be everybody's cup of tea - we, however, enjoyed that very much.
